Perth's Swan Valley

Did you know that Australia is the fourth biggest wine exporter in the world? And there is a very good reason for that! Drop by to Swan Valley and spend a couple of hours (or a day if you don't fall under the table) tasting wines at Swan Valley's award winning wineries. Numerous wineries, most of which are family run, in the valley offer this chance at all times.

You don't have to wait for a special event to head to Swan Valley but it is always recommended to mark Swan Valley events on your calender. Have you ever tried a sea-food plate with Shiraz? You might also really enjoy the annual wine show. Or why not to take part at the spring party or midsummer feast. A great way to relax in the middle of nature, especially with the help of worldwide famous delicious wine...

Swan Valley also offers several activities that are musts for a family picnic in the nature. Horseback riding for example... Or a visit to the wildlife park to come face to face with koalas. It is not difficult to find something to make the kids busy in this oasis...

Swan Valley is located in the Midland region, only 18km away from Perth. The easiest way to access the valley is obtaining a car but several trains and bus lines are also available depending on which point in the valley you want to access. But the most comfortable option is simply taking a daily tour departing from Perth city centre and letting yourself guided by an experienced tour guide.
