Long Island

Long Island is like a jewel in the heart of Whitsundays.

Long Island has 20km long bushwalking tracks through the 2500 acre Conway National Park, rainforest and beautiful beaches. The hiking tracks have numerous lookouts with awesome views. Bring your camera and make your memories last forever... When you feel like you need to cool down, go for snorkelling or dive into the picturesque underwater world of the corals just 150m away from the beach. There are multiple resorts on the island but this does not prevent anyone from camping. A camping place is available on the west of the island.

Long Island is easily accessable by boat both from Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island and from Shute Harbour. The boat transfer takes approximately half an hour from Shute Harbour and 20 minutes from Hamilton Island.
