Lindeman Island

Lindeman Island is the southernmost island in Whitsundays.

Lindeman Island features a 670 hectares World Heritage Listed National Park. The highest peak on Lindeman Island, Mount Oldfield, is just 212m above the sea level and it is connected to the rest of the island with the 20km walking track. Besides, the vista from the peak involves a panorama of Whitsunday Islands and Penecost which you can not stop watching. There are also 7 stunning beaches on Lindeman Island, Gap Beach being the most recommended one. The island is also a birdwatchers paradise since over 90 species welcome the visitors with their delightful songs. Dolphins hang around the island all year around while Humpback Whales can also be seen during their immigration season from July to November.
