The inhabited islands in Whitsundays are Hayman Island, Daydream Island, Hamilton Island, Long Island, Brampton Island, Hook Island, Lindeman Island and South Molle Island.
Hamilton Island is the only island in Whitsundays that has an airport where also bigger planes can land. Therefore, it is a popular option to land on Hamilton Island and get to the other islands by boat. Or a boat can be taken to almost every desired island from Shute Harbour or Airlie Beach.
