Sydney Tower and Skywalk

Sydney TowerWould you like to make an Eiffel Tower experience in the heart of Sydney? Then the correct address is Sydney Tower. This 260m high tower, exactly as high as Eiffel Tower, offers spectacular Sydney views from the Harbour Bridge to Blue Mountains, from the golden beaches to the botanic gardens once you take your place on the observation deck. It is the perfect place to take unique 360 degree panaroma shots of this magnificent harbour city without any doubt.

On Sydney Tower, there are two high-speed elevators, that can bring the guests to the observation deck within 40 seconds. For more energetic, the stairs are also available, just 1504 steps to the deck. If you feel like competing with the others climbing up the stairs, it would be an interesting experience to participate in the traditional "tower run-up" tournament and race up with a number of elite men and women to the observation deck, the highest point above Sydney.

Still not enough adrenalin? No problem! You can register for a Skywalk... If observation deck was not high enough, as a Skywalker you are encouraged to climb up to the roof of Sydney Tower. What is so special in this 1.5 hour lifetime experience is that you can select if you would prefer to enjoy the fascinating view during the day or a wonderful sunset view during dusk or a breathtaking romantic view during the evening.

If you feel some hunger after all this adventure, you can consider yourself lucky! How about dining, taking in unforgettable bird's eye views over Sydney? You are welcome to enjoy the variety of delicious international cuisines at two restaurants and a coffee lounge in Sydney Tower.

The ticket to the top of Sydney Tower usually includes an OzTrek show as well. OzTrek is a virtual simulation in a 3-D environment where the visitors can get to learn a lot about the culture, nature, history, landscape, outback, animal world, flora and fauna of Australia by watching very interesting movies. It is a great virtual ride through this unique country. OzTrek is the only one of its kind in Australia.

Wondering how to get to this amazing adventure world? Easy! Sydney Tower is located on top of Centrepoint Shopping Centre, on the corner of Pitt and Market Streets. The ferries that depart from Circular Quay make a stop directly in front of Sydney Tower. Alternatively, you should leave Monorail at Central Station or train at Town Hall Station. The tower is also the 14th stop of "hop on-hop off" Sydney Explorer buses. The tickets can be puchased at Podium Level which can be accessed either by the elevator foyer at 100 Market Street or by the escalators inside the shopping centre.

Sydney Tower welcomes visitors everyday between 9.00am and 10.30pm and is open on Saturdays until 11.30pm.
