Questacon

Questacon is the national science and technology centre in Canberra. Built on the banks of Lake Burley Griffin, Questacon offers a great time to kids from every age, combining education and fun perfectly. Incredible illusions and spectacular science shows turn breathtaking when interactivity also comes into the game. Experience the lack of gravitiy at a free fall or take a virtual rollercoaster ride. Learn more about our living world! Earthquakes, volcanoes, lightenings... Numerous other exhibitions open the doors of a completely different world.

Questacon also hosts events like birthdays and school trips. If you want to give an unforgettable present to your kid, you can throw a cool party here without having to think about how to amuse the guests. Other than that, an interesting thing to do would be travelling around with Questacon hot-air balloon that is as high as a 8-storey building! Questacon visitor centre will be happy to assist you with any necessary information.

Questacon is located around half an hour away by walk from Canberra CBD. Driving there is no problem since there are plenty of parking places around.

Questacon is open everyday from 9am to 5pm except Christmas Day.
